  Can't fault the professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff at Skin Mind Beauty and Hair who always ensure customer satisfaction and product knowledge. The staff go above and beyond to give their customers the best service each and every visit. Being able to receive my O Cosmedics via post has been a skin and lifesaver for myself when I can't make it to the salon in person. Nothing is ever a hassle and I'm always made to feel welcome. Keep up the great work team!!

  I also will add that they were running a bit behind (which is completely understandable, all salons do some days) but instead of just arriving at my appointed time and having to sit in a waiting chair for 30 minutes, like I have done in other salons, they actually had the decency to call me and let me know first. My appointment was pushed back very slightly and when I walked in I was tended to instantly. That is such a great example of great customer service.

  I used a Groupon voucher today for a cut, wash and blowdry and unfortunately I did not have a pleasant experience. The voucher stated that $15 extra would be charged for extra long hair (past bra strap) or extra thick hair. My hair was at least 2 inches above my bra strap and has average thickness, definitely not "extra thick". I was told shortly after I arrived that I had to pay extra and I pointed out the Fine Print. I was told they would cut my hair but would not blowdry it blaming Groupon for what was stated on the voucher. I do not think it the customer's fault if the advert was not proof read before publishing. I went ahead with the haircut as do not have time to schedule an appointment in anywhere else anytime soon. Unfortunately, the hairdresser cut my fringe unevenly - one side noticeably shorter than the other and I pointed this out (twice) but she became irritated and I felt it prudent to tell her to leave it. Anyhow, having asked a few people if they think my fringe is even and told a resounding "no" I know there is nothing wrong with my eyesight. Having read the other reviews I am most surprised by my experience as it was the opposite to all the glowing previous reviews.

  Its clear that Shannon has a passion for hair and actually enjoys what she does, because the end product was stunning. I loved that she didnt try to push me to buy products or extra add ons, there was no forced small talk and it all felt very natural.

  Shannon was so friendly and really explained what direction she felt was best to go with my hair. Once she was done with my hair I was shocked and blown away by how neat it was, I am still amazed with it and will for sure without a doubt go back next time. I've had several compliments, more then Ive gotten any other time I have had my hair done.
