  It's actually a 0 for me as well. I booked through another company which I showed at the time of my booking BUT was charged again by Thrifty. When I called them about it they told me to sort it out myself. Great customer service I think not.

  The attention is great, the staff make everything easy and fast! Is a good place to rent a car and they have various models and reasonable prices.

  The staff are friendly but the selection of vehicles are limited. They shut early on the weekends but allow for drop off at Surfer's Paradise Thrifty store.

  Its not 1 star its a 0. The booking was done by my insurance company and no one informed that the rental was only for 5 days. The CSA was so rude and rejected to extend the rental for 1 day over the phone and wanted me to visit in person to their Southport office. When I told him I cant come in as I had an interview in another 2 hours in Brisbane. He has my license copy and my credit card details but still denied to extend the rental until next day morning. He hung up on me threatening that he is calling the cops and reporting the vehicle as stolen. I had to leave that interview and return to Southport. I lost an opportunity bcoz of that guy and was charged me 140$ pn my Credit card a week later. I complaint to thrifty head office but no response from them and no action taken. Worst experience ever.
