  Worst Hospital in Queensland I stayed there as patient for several weeks. 50% Nurses are did do very good job and taking care of patients. Other 50% Nurse is lazy, abused, insult on innocent and fatigue patients and me during night time. Doctors makes patients more angry for not communication property and give them wrong drugs makes them feel very uncomfortable and very confused. I was told Doctors wont change or improve. Same with Robina Hospital. I would recommend Brisbane areas like Princess Alexandra Hospital. Do your research before go to hospital.

  I was in a car accident on my push bike and went to this hospital and received terrible treatment. I'm from New York so I was alone in Australia researching for this hospital's University (Griffith) when in the accident. My issues are as follows:

  My first time at out patients Rheumatology, the receptionists were rude and unhelpful, when you arrive you are no longer a person just a number. I had an unprofessional nurse who suggested my memory may have gone, a nurses assistant who shouts your height and weight across the room, you are not spoken to except to tell you what to do. It was a horrible experience and I left after half an hour, if the Drs allow this sort of service they must be worse than the staff so I didn't want to discuss my condition with one of them. A horrible experience, lovely building but lack of respect for patients. I will not return, I will go to a private clinic and be treated with respect.

  3.) I wasn't offered a payment plan because I didn't call soon enough although I called them and told them that I was going through a rough time without my family and couldn't even take a shower with the condition that I was in.

  This hospital's staff is unethical and unprofessional and should be held accountable for the things they've done. It is now 5 months after my accident and I have regained only 75% of the use of my arm back.

  5.) They refused to communicate to my parents about the bill after my parents emailed them my insurance information and asked how can they pay the debt that I owe.

  Several visits here with my kids and the staff and doctors have been fabulous on every occasion. There is a bit of a wait to see the doctors but that's to be expected in this environment. Go overseas and see how much worse it is in other countries and then you'll feel privileged to have this hospital on your doorstep.

  It's the best hospital I have ever been too. The stuff are very supportive and friendly and they are always there to help. The hospital it self very clean.

  6.) I paid my debt to the hospital and then they sent debt collectors after me for no reason. (PM me if you want proof I have their stamp of approval that says "paid")
